What you’ll take away from naloxone (Narcan) administration training: Overdose prevention strategies, knowing the signs and symptoms of opioid overdose, how to administer Narcan, and understanding the Good Samaritan Law.

QPR (Question, Persuade, Refer) Suicide Prevention Gatekeeper Training

QPR Training gives you the skills and knowledge to intervene to possibly prevent suicide. Learn how to get help for yourself, learn more about preventing suicide, common causes of suicidal behavior, warning signs of suicide and how to get help for someone in crisis.

Region 4 Problem Gambling Awareness Team Meeting

Amplify Community Room
Regional coalition of community stakeholders raising awareness around problem gambling and its integration into prevention, treatment, and recovery efforts. Meets quarterly to support training opportunities, discuss regional data, and address needs.
Partners include DMHAS Problem Gambling Services, CT Council on Problem Gambling, Wheeler Clinic-Bettor Choice Program, CT Community of Addiction Recovery and concerned community members.

The Regional Suicide Advisory Board (RSAB) supports the overall vision of the CT Suicide Advisory Board, the goals and objectives of the CT Suicide Prevention Plan. The RSAB coordinates training opportunities and offers guidance on evidence-based activities and planning for mental health promotion, and suicide prevention, intervention and response.
