Catchment Area Councils

No one knows what communities need better than those who live and work within it. You see the challenges, as well as the hopes and dreams. You see what’s possible. Through Catchment Area Councils, you can help make your town stronger, healthier and poised to tackle some of its most challenging issues.

Amplify serves the North Central Region comprised 37 thirty-seven towns in the North Central region of Connecticut. Clusters of towns in this area are combined into six Catchment Areas that receive behavioral health services as a unit.

Catchment Area Council membership is comprised of town residents who are living with behavioral health challenges, family members, concerned citizens as well as behavioral health providers. This group reviews and evaluates current behavioral health services and identifies gaps based on town needs then recommends changes that will serve the region. Your life experience, knowledge of the ins and outs of your community, combined with quality research and data can bring needed services to strengthen our region.
